NCPARS, INC. Information

The North Central Pennsylvania Aquarium Reef Society (NCPARS) is a charitable non-profit 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt corporation dedicated to the marine aquarium hobby. 

 

NCPARS, INC.  main goal is to educate the public and other aquarium enthusiasts about natural reef ecosystems and reefkeeping.

 

NCPARS is dedicated to the conservation of global reefs by educating the public as well as members, hold 2 or 3 frag swaps a year, propagation by its members, help local schools with their systems through the school program, learn from other members and their experiences.

Our Members comprise of locals as well as hobbyists from other states, clubs, and societies.

Each year we hold 2 or 3 frag swaps where members trade corals, see presentations from experts in the field, see DoItYourself seminars, and share knowledge and stories about our experiences. We also participate in online discussions in our forums and on Reef Central. NCPARS also has other events as well as supports public education about saltwater aquaria through school programs!
